We are management and leadership professionals serving organizations in transition. Through our products and services we help build the capacity for effectively managing and leading change, which helps organizations achieve greater productivity, adaptability, and profitability. The Academy for Corporate Excellence was founded in 1989 by Dr. Maurice Olivier. More commonly known as Moe, Dr. Olivier started the Academy after 18 years in higher education where he had been a founding member of the College for Lifelong Learning, a college focused specifically on the unique needs of adult learners. With early clients like General Electric, James River Corporation, and Continental Cablevision, the Academy quickly developed a reputation for quality, customized work, developed with the flexibility to meet each client's specific needs and challenges. Our philosophy of working with clients since our first years is grounded in the understanding that each organization has a unique culture, unique challenges, and unique priorities. Our job is to tailor and adapt well researched and pragmatic--though hard to apply--concepts to each organization's specific challenges. Sure, it's a little bit more challenging for us to customize all our work for each specific client, but we truly believe that one size does not fit all and so, to be effective, we approach each project differently. When you work with the Academy you can be sure you will not get pre-formatted answers to your problems. We listen to you and to your organization and then suggest alternative approaches to address your needs.
